The new name of this friendly restaurant is La Véranda. Two small gougères to accompany the aperitif. An attention which is very appreciable. Ate spinach-salmon lasagna. Good but really very very little salmon....very pleasant atmosphere and service. Pretty room (veranda) and terrace with a view of the river.

We eat well at lunchtime and in the evening and there is even an aperitif during the day! The new name is La veranda with a young team but which keeps the traditional Burgundian specialties. Fresh and hearty dishes. Prices and service are correct. The nicely redecorated room gives pride of place to tradition and fantasy. The classic ice cream sundaes are delicious and respect the recipe from our childhood and even the unbeatable price, so go for two or with friends in the dining room or on the terrace.

20/09/2024: With my wife and my son we had a very, very good time.... pizzas cooked over a wood fire which is rare in Auxerre... Excellent..... I highly recommend and forget the other pizzerias.. ....WELL DONE
18/09/2024: Petite pizzeria ouverte le soir et proposant de délicieuses pizzas cuites au feu de bois à prix imbattables. Un faible pour l'auxerroise ; un régal pour 12 euros. Carlotinna pour les petits appétits. Patron sympa et avenant.

23/09/2024: I know the hotel and generally I like it. This time I had a small room, with a slightly old and decadent bathroom, finally it was a bit cold, you couldn't put hot air on, only cold. Breakfast and welcome as good as always. The car park was super full, I had to put 2 wheels on the garden.
23/09/2024: Very nice staff, we slept very well and had a very good breakfast. Everything went smoothly.
