Le bousquet sur Pouille

Having come from the Charente region to spend a weekend at Beauval Zoo, we were looking for a restaurant for Saturday evening's meal nearby. TripAdvisor led us to Le Bousquet, and we certainly don't regret our choice. We received a warm welcome from the moment we called to make a reservation. The staff were friendly and efficient. And we had a wonderful meal. The menu was generous, with delicious homemade terrine and rillettes, and the meat cooked over charcoal was perfect. We would definitely recommend this place and will return if we have the opportunity to be in the area again.

While passing through the area, we had dinner at this cave restaurant. The experience is unique and very enjoyable, especially if it's your first time in this type of restaurant; it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. As for the food, we ate absolutely delicious. The €29.50 set menu is extremely generous from start to finish, with unlimited terrine and rillettes as a starter, while the main course offers a wide selection of meats with homemade fries, followed by a delicious cheese platter. The dessert, with its scoops of artisanal ice cream or one of the many desserts on the menu (for an additional charge), is equally exquisite. The service was superb. We were served by Lilou, who was incredibly friendly and with whom we had a wonderful time. She was very responsive and attentive, which enhanced our experience. I HIGHLY recommend it!

A fantastic restaurant in a stunning setting. The chef's cuisine is excellent, generous, and homemade. For dessert, I had the tarte tatin, and it was simply magnificent and delicious, served with lovely homemade whipped cream! I highly recommend it! 👌

Excellent meal. At a reasonable price.

We came and were very disappointed. The appetizer platter was served at the same time as the starters. However, the fish and meat were cooked perfectly. The waitress wasn't great! On the other hand, there was a good amount of food.

The food was delicious and the portions very generous, from the rillettes and terrines to the cheese platter. The waitresses were very attentive and checked regularly to see if everything was alright. I highly recommend it.
