Quelle surprise ce petit resto ! La patronne est d une gentillesse....adorable, gentille, bienveillante, rigolote....nous avons adoré tellement que nous y sommes revenus pour le goûter et boire un verre en compagnie des ours en peluche. Je recommande les yeux fermés !

Lunch with friends on the sunny terrace. Tasty and hearty dishes. Dodo the boss is extremely friendly and efficient! I recommend 100%!

I recommend 100% ✌️ The food is generous, comforting, and affordable for the kitchen work involved (one example among others: a REAL homemade tomato sauce for the pizzas...!). And the managers are just adorable! We had a great time for a friend's birthday, we were very well received and served. As a bonus, if you're nice, they offer you the génep 😏 If you are looking for an address with good food and an exemplary welcome in the area, don't hesitate: go to Le Break!

We have just tasted the dish of the day "tartare with salad fries. The condiments with the meat (bavette prepared with a knife) were more than perfect. To finish, a real and delicious Liège coffee. We come regularly and we know why. A quality meal and very friendly owners without forgetting Fanfan the Chef. Well done and see you soon 🤗

04/09/2024: Revisited 'local' restaurant in the heart of the old town, with a very pleasant terrace above the Guisane. The service was smooth and pleasant despite the room being full. The starters were good and innovative, but the fondue was tasteless... I don't recommend it as it stands, but the other dishes are perhaps better?

L'Echaillon

23/07/2024: And summer too! We knew winter but not yet summer. Apart from the snow, the big difference is the calm! To get up there, it's worth it but access via the Casse du Boeuf chairlift is possible and it becomes easier. Then in less than 15 minutes of descent we arrive at Echaillon. Great welcome, games for children, pétanque, darts... You can spend the afternoon there! For the meal, the salads are superb but we decided to go with 2 magnificent beef ribs. Bravo for the sauces which accompany wonderfully. We will come back!
18/07/2024: Everything was perfect during our visit on July 17, 2024. The splendid view, the spaced terrace tables, the wine list, the barbecue grills - we hadn't eaten such a good duck breast for a while - the games that kept our children busy (bouncy castle, swing, trampoline), ultra-attentive service. The prices were really reasonable for a mountain restaurant. Thank you again for taking pity on us and bringing my tired mother back to the Casse du Boeuf. Children will remember this jeep ride for a long time. We will definitely come back in winter and hope that the prime rib will still be on the menu.
