First time on the terrace. A very warm welcome. A lovely English pool table inside 😍. I'll definitely be back soon to relax on the terrace and indulge in one of my passions.

The welcome was courteous, but I'm deducting two stars for the far too rushed service. I didn't even have time to mention that I wanted a terrine before the waitress had already left. We were asked to pay as soon as our glasses were placed on the table. This feeling of being constantly rushed ultimately made us change our minds: we had planned to have lunch there, but we decided to leave. It's a real shame, especially in such a touristy place, where people come to enjoy the surroundings and take their time. A little more attention and less hurried service would have completely changed our experience.

I'd like to share a brief thought. I completely understand that in France, the only language citizens are required to use is French. Okay, that makes sense. However, if you work in a town that relies on tourism, both domestic and international, and you serve people from different backgrounds and languages... Isn't it reasonable that if a customer asks to speak to you in English because they don't know French (English isn't their native language either, but at least they can get by), you should make the effort to understand them and respond in English as well? Especially if all they've asked for is a coffee, nothing more. I don't know, I just can't understand how such rude people choose the hospitality industry as their livelihood. I suppose everyone has their own circumstances, and you have to make a living somehow, after all. Edited after the reply: After their heartfelt apology, I'm editing the post. Best regards.

A little break from our sightseeing... We enjoyed the magic of the place, which has an old-world charm combined with a distinctly feminine touch in its decor... A lovely break that I highly recommend, quite unlike the neighboring street-side terraces... Special mention to the sweet mandarins, and to the hornet catcher...

Every year we come, and every year we are moved and delighted to see the manager and her wonderful team again, who welcome us with such warmth and simplicity. Thank you for these moments when we feel so at ease!

A very pleasant bar where we stopped for coffee and tea during our motorbike ride. Sunny terraces and reasonable prices.

Lots of choices. We stopped for a coffee before visiting Paimpont. The waitress was very kind and smiling, it was lovely, thank you :)
