I've been coming to this restaurant for about four years now, and I've never been disappointed once. Occasionally the service has been a bit slow or there's been a change of server, but given the circumstances, it's not always easy for them. As for the food, it's always been a 10/10. Whenever someone tells me they're going to eat in Valence, this is the restaurant I book, whether it's with friends or for a more intimate meal. Don't hesitate any longer!

A very good culinary experience. My son and I ate at this restaurant on September 19th at lunchtime. Unfortunately, the daily special was already sold out, but fortunately, the dishes we chose were excellent and beautifully presented. The dessert was also excellent. One drawback, I don't know why, but the waitress didn't seem to like us very much. It took a long time to take our order, and afterwards, the interaction was very limited. She didn't ask if we enjoyed our meal or if we liked it. She offered us coffees even though we hadn't had dessert yet. She brought us dessert but no cutlery (which is a bit much for ice cream), while she was particularly friendly with the other customers (including a group of elderly people who were quite noisy, but oh well). Even when it came time to pay the bill, not even a "everything was fine." Unbelievable. It's a shame because the meal was truly excellent.

Another great time spent at this restaurant. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, made with fresh, expertly prepared ingredients. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful. The menu changes every two weeks, while still featuring some specialties (ravioli gratin, burgers). A vegetarian starter and main course were available, which was much appreciated. There was a good selection of wines on the wine list. The ambiance isn't exceptional, but everything else makes it well worth a visit!

A wonderful experience despite being in the city center; the atmosphere was pleasant and not noisy. The welcome and service from our waiter, Anthony, were very warm and professional. He clearly knows his job well and was very attentive to our wine recommendations and other needs. The food was quite well-prepared, with little pansies as a garnish on the prawn dish (available à la carte). My husband had the chicken with garlic jus, which was very good. I highly recommend it.

Overall, we had a great time at Briand. The food was very good and the service was pleasant and friendly. The only downside was the rather slow service, but it's hard to blame the waitress since she was alone managing more than ten tables. She was clearly doing her best, but inevitably became overwhelmed. We had to wait quite a while to have our plates cleared and to order desserts. It's a shame there wasn't an additional waiter, because otherwise, we ate very well and received a warm welcome.

Enjoying the outdoor terrace with friends, we were disappointed with the menu... There was only one menu, but only one of the three appetizers was available, which severely limited the choice. The main course selection was also limited. The cocktail wasn't anything special either, unfortunately. The main course, however, was good.

20/09/2026: It was our first time dining at Bistrot André, thanks to a gift certificate we received. A wonderful opportunity to discover this sublime place! We were lucky enough to eat outside in a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, feeling like we were in another world. The food is simply exceptional, and the staff is truly outstanding! We particularly appreciated the attention paid to allergies: the allergens we mentioned when making the reservation were carefully taken into account beforehand, and suitable dishes were offered to us with great care. The recommendations regarding wines, as well as the non-alcoholic alternatives to accompany the different dishes, were also a delightful discovery. Everything was perfectly paired, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end. A truly wonderful experience, with excellent value for money. We're already planning to come back more often to explore more of Bistrot André's cuisine!
20/09/2026: An exceptional experience. For our trip from the North to the South of France, we had planned a stop in Valence to sample Madame Pic's cuisine. We couldn't afford the 3-Michelin-starred restaurant, but Bistrot André, Pic's second restaurant in Valence, promised a wonderful culinary experience. And it delivered. To quote Emmanuelle Jary (it's better when it's good), "when you cook well, you cook well on every level." From the welcome to the service at the table and the small plates on the tasting menu, we were delighted with the restaurant's offerings. We also made a point of trying their signature appetizer, a blend of land and sea, and a passionate sommelier who amazed us with his wine pairings. The conversations and the short tour offered by the hostess brought this culinary experience to a perfect close. Being from Northern France, we clicked immediately. 🥰 Thank you for this wonderful experience, if you are ever in Valence, if you have a must-see, it's Maison Pic!
