We had lunch at Le Briquet restaurant and were delighted. The dishes were delicious, well-prepared, and served with kindness. The atmosphere is pleasant, and it's the perfect place to relax after visiting the museum.
A wonderful discovery that we highly recommend!
I received a very warm welcome at this restaurant, and the waitresses were very pleasant and smiling. The food was average; I ordered a medium-rare steak (approximately 120g) flambéed with juniper, which arrived well-cooked but unfortunately tasteless. The mussels on the daily special were good, though not finger-bowl-proof. The fries weren't homemade, which was a shame.
Former sawmill transformed into a restaurant: "le briquet", where the decor takes you back to the mine. The atmosphere is cozy and you can enjoy delicious regional dishes with local products and everything is homemade: a real treat. The service is impeccable and the staff is friendly and attentive. Please note, however, that the restaurant is not open in the evenings.
