Le cabanon sur Lanton

Good morning A very pleasant place, good food but not wow either, good but too simple considering the price. 30€ a fish skewer, oops... We had this dish, no complaints about the skill in cooking the fish, it was perfect but hey I would have appreciated two skewers for this price. Good food but insufficient quantity in my humble opinion and obviously that's just me. Very pleasant place despite everything, with impeccable welcome and service.

Superb restaurant with a magnificent view of the basin. We were delighted with the quality of the dishes and the service at Le Cabanon. A lovely place to relax and enjoy a good meal. I highly recommend! 🐟😛

Great restaurant with our children. The cuisine is excellent and refined while remaining simple. The service is top notch and we happened upon the village evening in mid-August and the atmosphere was very festive while remaining classy. I highly recommend. The setting is magnificent and going to see the sunset afterwards is a good plan.

Sehr schönes kleines Restaurant direkt am Yachthafen von Lanton. Ein Nachtessen „au cabanon“ gehört für uns bei jedem Besuch der Region dazu. Sehr netter Service.

We were recommended to come here, and we were not disappointed. Received a very friendly welcome and impeccable service. We both had 6 or so hugely large prawns with a salad and nice bottle of ice cold white wine.. so yes all good! I did however have to ask for a finger bowl as the small sachet with a hand wipe was not only difficult to open with grubby " prawn fingers" it would also not have been sufficient to clean my hands. My request appeared to be a strange one for some reason, as the waiter must obviously have mentioned something to the chef about my request as by now I appeared to be the centre of their attraction and had 2 pairs of eyes looking at me.. I didn't think that my request was so strange! Actually, one would have thought that a finger bowl would and should really have been placed on the table as a matter of course - especially after the somewhat gruesome dissection of 6 very large prawns..🦐🥴 Would we come back if ever in this part of the world again? Yes I think we would.
