We ate very well, the BRUNCH was excellent and the staff had a lot of humor. We wholeheartedly recommend the place!

Perfect coffee spot for coffee lovers. Speciality coffee brewed using alternative methods (we’ve tried V60) and espresso style. Worth to mention in depth knowledge about grains which is shared during serving. Beside of coffee you can taste baked goods which pairs coffee quality (we tried apricots tart and croissants)

Excellent service, with a welcoming and warm host.
The food was simple, but very filling with a focus on very good quality instead of quantity.
The dessert, both the homemade tarts and cakes were very good.
Finally the Coffee is, as said in other reviews, excellent along with a large selection of teas, whom the host can tailor to the dessert.
All around a perfect visit

Sit outside under the awning or in the small but very charming indoors - either way, the food is awesome and Sylvan gives the best hospitality. 5 stars!

Had lunch while visiting Bayeux, the menu is quite small but the food was nice, not a very big place and it doesn't have extra tables out the back that you can't see from the front . The coffee was really well made but slightly on the cold side for a laté
So glad we found this spot the first day in Bayeaux. The owner was so patient and spoke perfect English. We grabbed something each of the 3 days we were here. The desserts were excellent! Excellent! Excellent! The chocolate chip pecan cookies were probably the best we’ve ever had. We also enjoyed the muffins, the banana nut bread and a sandwich amongst many different drinks. I wish we had one of these back home! Do not miss this spot!
