A good address, a very pleasant spot on the banks of the Sorgue. Perhaps a little pricey.

Nice restaurant, lovely little terrace by the water. The service is very pleasant and friendly. The prices are reasonable, as are the dishes. I had the excellent hand-cut beef tartare. 👍

Dining by the Sorgue river was magnificent, the service was quick, and the staff was pleasant.

The food and service are absolutely fine, nothing to complain about. The scenery is, however, top tier. Yes it is touristy. It is touristy for a reason; it's beautiful.

The Grand Café de la Sorgue is a classic French bistro, just as you'd imagine it: simple, traditional, unpretentious cuisine at very reasonable prices. The menu features classic French dishes, along with a lunchtime set menu and a daily special. Nothing particularly sophisticated, but people come here mainly for a simple, well-done meal without breaking the bank. There's also a small wine list and a selection of cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. But the real draw of the place is undoubtedly its large terrace overlooking the Sorgue River. Plenty of seating, a lovely view of the water, and that wonderfully pleasant atmosphere of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue... Naturally, having lunch by the river adds a touch of charm to the meal. However, there was a slight downside regarding the service. During our visit, I found it rather cold and not particularly welcoming. Some of the servers were also a little unprofessional and inattentive. Nothing catastrophic, but with a bit more smiles and friendliness, the experience would have been much more pleasant. Overall, a good place for an unpretentious lunch in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, especially if you manage to snag a nice table by the water. Reasonable prices, classic French cuisine, and above all, a terrace that contributes greatly to the charm of the place.

Absolutely excellent. Lovely setting by the Sorgue River. Attentive, quick, and helpful staff. I highly recommend it.
