Returning from Île de Ré, we stopped by chance in this village, and I can tell you that the restaurant is everything we love (home-style cooking, a very warm welcome, reasonable prices, and the owner's smile). I recommend it to anyone passing through.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for the crépinette with mashed potatoes, which brought back so many childhood memories of Sunday lunches at my grandparents' house in Melle. It was excellent. The ST beer was a pleasant surprise. Finally, a welcoming place with strong values, where all generations feel at home in Melle. We felt comfortable. It warms the heart. The birthday candle hidden in the mashed potatoes for a regular customer who came with his mother was a wonderful touch. No need for a fancy cake to mark the occasion. I can't wait to come back with my father next time I'm in town. Thank you for this wonderful lunch.

Passing through on our way back to Brittany, we stopped for lunch. A very warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere, and homemade food, all at a very reasonable price. They have numerous concerts and themed evenings on weekends (we saw the posters). Thank you and see you soon!

The savory tart was meh, not particularly tasty. The salad was just lettuce with a sour dressing. My dessert was good, crumble. My partner's dessert was awful. Praline tart. Heavy and flavorless.
