Le Café du Commerce sur Paris

Another very good Parisian brasserie address 🙂 The place is very nice, on 2 floors, nicely decorated. The dishes are excellent 👍👏 we really enjoyed it with my husband 😁

Typical atmosphere of old breweries with smiling and friendly staff. The traditional cuisine is very good and takes us back to our childhood with dishes from our grandparents.

Fine dining without ostentatious settings, elegant .. great food and service too

The quality and price ratio is excellent. We had a great time. The service has nothing to say, the employees demonstrate a professionalism that is rarely found these days. Very welcoming, and smiling, immediately put us in a good mood, in a very well decorated establishment, what more could you ask for to have an excellent time. We would particularly like to thank Mattéo who amazed us that evening, at his young age, he showed professionalism, an excellent recruit! It is rare these days to have such professional young people, excellent attitude on his part, (very careful posture and vocabulary.)

Classic French bistro vibes and atmosphere, very lively and always full of people enjoying a nice lunch and a good dinner! Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is good and reasonably priced bistro style menu.

Everything is good, with the downside of the noise, but the particular configuration of the place, which partly gives it its very particular charm, means that it could hardly be otherwise.

Seen from the outside, you wouldn't imagine that the place is so big. The restaurant "at the back of the courtyard" on 2 floors, is very pretty, with art deco posters, bistro style but too noisy for my taste. I went there one lunchtime and had the Normandy rump steak, Café du Commerce sauce with fries. I asked for it to be cooked "rare" but it wasn't and the fries were overcooked. All for €19.60. Note that the sauce was very good. The waiter, not very friendly unlike the head waiter. Place to see anyway because unusual

The filet mignon dish is good and has a charcoal grilled flavor But the meat quality is average, but the meat taste is quite good Onions are delicious as a side dish The confit duck leg is a bit salty and a little salty. The most delicious thing is the potato as a side dish of the confit duck leg. The snails are the most delicious. They are better than what we had in the workers’ restaurant👍. They are also great with bread👍

It’s the director who welcomes me. It was 4 p.m. on the first of April and the restaurant was clearly well past its rush because there was clearly plenty of room. I was first refused "I'm sorry there's a shortage of staff", I don't even have time to answer him, the conversation is interrupted because he picks up when the phone rings. Once he hangs up he catches up with me because I'm leaving, and he agrees to set me up. I never take the time to post a review and I don't have the habit of "quibbling" but I didn't like its reception at all. I believe that we should not share “personnel problems etc” with the client. Beyond everything, for me a golden rule is to do what you can and find a solution for a single client. You can't imagine the courage it takes to go to a restaurant for lunch alone. And I think that such a large establishment can still adequately accommodate a single person. I don't think I caused any difficulty for the kitchen or the servers. The servers were also very friendly and professional. The place is very pleasant, and the dishes reflect brasserie cuisine very well. Avoid refusing a single person.
