Passing through Chartres, last night on the terrace, we saw the little pots of pretzels pass under our noses…. We bought 2 glasses of Chardonnay (€6 per glass) or €12, we would have liked some biscuits to snack on……left disappointed….

A fairly classic bar located on the beautiful Place Marceau in Chartres. The terrace is large and parasols or blinds provide shaded places for eating. The service is fast and the servers are pleasant. Prices are average high for this type of bar/brewery A new visit in 2024 to this brasserie for dinner allows me to confirm the previous review posted 5 years ago. The dishes served are very good, the service always fast and friendly. I am taking advantage of this new experience to improve the rating by one star.

The home fries are excellent, as is the coffee. The place is warm and most of the staff members friendly. Too bad for me to systematically come across a haughty, nonchalant and condescending young waiter who takes a thousand years to take my order, an equal amount of time to serve me and who tries to charge me twice. (The collection did not take long) However, he seems very friendly with the people he knows! He will certainly recognize himself. It is therefore with regret that I only give it 4 stars. The place is ideally located in the heart of the city center of Chartres. I recommend
