I liked the location, and the space. The exhibition was ok. Friendly staff and nice museum shop. Ok bar.

In my humble opinion, This museum is a gem. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, from the exhibitions (of varying quality but all interesting) to the space itself. It was the setting for a very intense moment with my partner; I shed torrents of tears in a very dramatic way, surrounded by works of art. Thank you for this moment; I will cherish the memory of it as a source of relief. Art sets us free. The Caiman

Some parts were interesting, some felt a little too performative for my taste. Still worth seeing if you’re in Lyon.

Beautiful spaces, the staff is great. Regarding the museum section, I expected a massive permanent collection. In the end, there are three temporary exhibitions: the one by Giulia Andreani is very good, powerful. The second consists of videos. My impressions are mixed. It's not my favorite medium, but some videos were impactful. The last one, about Guillaumon, didn't resonate with me at all.

This contemporary art museum was inaugurated in 1995 in a building designed by Renzo Piano, coinciding with the third Lyon Biennale, entitled "Video, Cinema, Interactive Image." The 6,000 m² building retains the façade of the former Lyon Exhibition Hall and is located in the heart of the Cité Internationale. The artistic explorations in this museum are always interesting to see, particularly regarding themes of materials and design.

I love this little museum so much! Some of the exhibitions change every six months, and there are three floors to suit all tastes—art that speaks to you, some more than others, some that make you laugh. It's a whole world unto itself, and above all, it's peaceful 🤫 I recommend you go, admire the art, and relax there 🖼
