Great atmosphere and extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Large outdoor terrace for summer and a cozy lounge inside. I highly recommend the quality of service!

What a wonderful discovery! ☕️ A charming café in the heart of La Rochelle's historic center. I learned that the current Café Molière pays homage to a former iconic café in the city. I even found the building where its name is still engraved in stone. A beautiful way to keep La Rochelle's history alive. ❤️ I love cafés… and good coffee! ☕️ Thank you for this lovely moment. 🙌

04/07/2026: This hotel is in a great location. However, the air conditioner didn’t work and the WIFI didn’t work. But the worst was the receptionist, named Vincent, who was rather astoundingly rude. We booked a room with two beds, and when we checked in I wanted to verify that was the case and he snapped at me that “we shall see”. I said that we had booked a room with two beds so I wanted to be sure, and he simply snapped at me again that “we shall see”. When I told him the WIFI didn’t work, again a snap of “yes, it does”. Really a jerk.
15/06/2026: Adorable hotel perfectly situated in the Vieux Port area. Staff were excellent. It is an old building so be warned that there are stairs! But if you are able to climb the stairs, it is totally worth it. My courtyard facing room was very quiet despite being in such a busy area. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning worked very well.

09/09/2026: I'm giving it 5 stars so as not to skew your average, but this is my third and final time here because after a 7-minute wait, I left empty-handed! There's no one to serve you. There's one waitress for the indoor seating area, sitting at a register behind a seemingly very busy bar, and someone outside serving ice cream. I'm waiting for a glance, hoping for some attention... but no. So, for the third time, I leave with nothing, just a strange feeling of wanting to understand how such poor organization can be matched by such nice products. My apartment is 30 meters away, and I still haven't tasted a fruit jelly or a cake??
