We went out to dinner with friends last night and had a lovely meal.
However, is it normal to have so much smoke in a restaurant? Even though the oven is in the open dining area, I'm not sure the ventilation is adequate… it's very unpleasant to have all that smoke during dinner, and to have your clothes and hair smell so bad as a result… what a shame…

Table for 12. Meals ordered in advance. Impeccable service and incredible pizzas. The staff is very friendly. (And they even accept dogs!)

The owner was super friendly and incredibly helpful! Since I don't speak French, we simply used a translator app to talk – it was really helpful, and we even had a good laugh.

The Calabrais pizzas are, in my opinion, the best in central Alsace.
Delicious, flavorful, and generous. The staff is friendly and welcoming. In short, a place we always keep on hand for pizza cravings 🍕😋

However, the service could still be improved:
Appetizer service was slow, the waitress didn't know the current beers, and a dessert was forgotten.
