31/08/2026: Hello, very disappointed... we placed an order, they gave us a time to pick it up... we arrived and they told us they were running a little late, we had to wait almost 50 minutes... only to end up with cold and overcooked fries... the children's menu nuggets were so cooked there was nothing in them...

12/09/2026: The service and staff were excellent, however, the desired flavor was unfortunately lacking. We felt like we were eating in a restaurant that had adapted its cuisine to French tastes, sacrificing its authenticity. When you want to eat Indian food, you expect an explosion of flavors, but here, the dishes were sorely lacking in soul – a real shame!

06/09/2026: We had a lovely evening at Au Pied de Bœuf. On a mild summer evening, we were able to sit outside. The terrace was quite busy – so reservations are definitely recommended – but the atmosphere was still pleasant and relaxed. For our starter, we had the escargots, which were perfectly seasoned with herb butter. This was followed by a Salade Niçoise, and for our main courses, the traditional Baeckeoffe and an Angus steak with Béarnaise sauce. The Angus steak, in particular, was wonderfully tender and cooked to perfection. The wine recommendation, a Pinot Gris from Alsace, was also a perfect match for the food. Our only minor criticism: Unfortunately, we weren't informed that the kitchen was closing soon. As a result, we couldn't order dessert, which we had been really looking forward to. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful evening and would gladly return.

07/06/2026: Quite frankly, A fantastic experience. A superb meal, fragrant, fresh, delicious, and generous. The rosé wine is divine; give it a try. We were a party of 10 people of different ages, and everyone enjoyed the meal. The owner is incredibly friendly and creates a great atmosphere. The quality and quantity of the food were excellent. The price was very reasonable. They also accept holiday vouchers. The restaurant is clean, the table is beautifully set, and the restrooms are clean. The service was prompt and efficient. We highly recommend it. The mint tea was a delight. Thank you so much, and see you very soon! P.S.: Don't tell everyone... Otherwise, there won't be any more room...😁

14/09/2026: Beautiful restaurant, clean, nice restrooms, perfect food, beautiful wines, perfect value for money! Best in Selestat. We had sheep cheese croquettes, perfect, my wife's melon was also perfect, not to mention the main courses! This was more than perfect!

04/09/2026: We've been to this restaurant several times and we're never disappointed! The couscous is absolutely delicious, generously portioned, and incredibly flavorful. The staff is so kind and welcoming. On our last visit, the young waiter was absolutely lovely and very attentive. I don't know his name, but he was incredibly nice to us. They were also very accommodating in meeting our needs and gave us a small discount, which was really appreciated. We'll definitely be back; it's a great place! 😊

13/08/2026: This restaurant deserves a much higher rating than 4.3. The sauerkraut was incredibly flavorful, the meat exceptional. The pork chop was fantastic, and the fat was amazing. The waitress was super friendly. Their Gewürztraminer is incredible. In short, go there!

11/09/2026: Terrible and bland… I was very disappointed with my visit. The coffee was simply disgusting, to the point that I mentioned it to the owner when the bill arrived. Unfortunately, she didn't react at all, not even a gesture of goodwill or a simple acknowledgment of my comment. It's a shame, because a little consideration for customers would have been appreciated.
