Warm and accommodating welcome and service. A superb restaurant by the sea. The oysters were delicious, and the rib-eye steak with foie gras sauce was a real treat. We thoroughly enjoyed all five courses.

We had a lovely evening with a magnificent view of the beach and the sea at Pontaillac. The food was excellent; the lobster was perfect, the mussels delicious, the gourmet coffee very well served, and the staff very welcoming and pleasant. I highly recommend it.

A little disappointed… The €33 rib-eye steak was so fatty that about half the meat was barely edible. We asked if the steak tartare was hand-cut, which was confirmed, but it wasn't when we tasted it. During the service, the waitress spilled some of the fries on the table and didn't replace them. However, the portions were quite generous.
