This restaurant, Le Cantalou, has nothing to do with the name. I knew it before the change of ownership; it was great, serving only local cuisine. Now it's nothing like that, really mediocre, not even a typical Auvergne menu. A real shame in the Cantal region. Only good for a quick stop on the main road between Massiac and Murat.

Hearty, well-prepared, and served with a smile. All this for a set menu of €16.50, including: Starter, Main Course, Cheese, Dessert, Coffee, and a quarter-liter of wine. Incredible! I can't wait for my next visit to CANTALOU...😍😍
