Okay, first off, don't bother looking for photos, I didn't post any because I just devoured the food without thinking.
We had to wait until 1:45 PM to get a table, but it was worth it and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
So we ordered the duck confit (oh my god, the potatoes were amazing!!!) which came with a walnut mustard, oh my god!!!!
We also had a porcini mushroom omelet. It sounds simple, but it was truly exceptional. How did they do it??? Apparently, it's a grandmother's recipe.
Anyway, for dessert, walnut cake (oh my!) with walnut ice cream, walnut ice cream soufflé, and fromage blanc with homemade jam (hooray for pears!).
In short, finally, the long-awaited holiday restaurant.

We went for lunch on a Sunday in August without a reservation, and they gave us a table without any problem; we just had to walk around until something became available. The food was exquisite, and they adapted the dishes for children. The mushroom omelet was a 10/10, and the duck breast was excellent as well. The terrace is lovely; the grapevine gives it a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

A very good restaurant, beautiful and well located in Collonges-la-Rouge. The meal was very good (I'm not giving it 5 stars because the roast veal was overcooked and therefore a little dry), but the other dishes were also very good. The service is very pleasant; it's easy to have a laugh and chat with the staff.

While on holiday in the Lot region, we came to this restaurant for dinner on the recommendation of a local. We weren't disappointed. The setting was beautiful and the welcome warm. The menu features homemade dishes made with local produce. The food was delicious and generous. Thank you.

Excellent restaurant, the menu offers a variety of dishes, not just duck! The calf's head was superb and the lamb sweetbreads were to die for, grilled to perfection. The location was shaded and cool, and the service was attentive and friendly.
