11/01/2026: A superb discovery at Tapas Locas last night, a completely impromptu visit with my wife. Despite the restaurant being fully booked—proof of its well-deserved success—the staff managed to find us a table on the condition that we vacate the premises before 8:30 pm. They more than met their promise thanks to service that was as efficient as it was pleasant. As for the food, it was a veritable feast. The ham and bellota sausage were remarkably delicate, the homemade tortilla absolutely divine, and the fried Camembert added an original touch that was a welcome change from the traditional roasted Camembert you see everywhere. Special mention also goes to the duck confit croquettes, a pure delight. The atmosphere is warm, lively, and authentic, and the staff are attentive, passionate, and very friendly. They readily share the origins of the products and discuss the cuisine, which makes the experience even more convivial. Regarding the wines, a big thumbs up for the 100% Grenache from century-old vines—absolutely delicious. The sweet wine chosen by my wife was also excellent. In short, a truly delightful experience in a place you'll want to return to—and we will, this time with friends, to share delicious tapas in an authentic and festive atmosphere. A top-notch spot in Toulouse.
