Le Carillon sur Sainte-Maxime

The food was excellent, but the waitress seemed a bit stressed. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

The dish of the day was dry. A polite comment was made, but received no response. We won't be back.

A real gem! ❤️ Located opposite a beautiful, lively square, this restaurant truly lives up to its name: "Le Carillon" (The Carillon)! A church and its carillon right next door add even more charm to the setting. The atmosphere is charming, family-friendly, and intimate. You feel right at home from the moment you arrive, with a warm ambiance and exceptionally comfortable seating: a detail that makes all the difference! 😉 As for the service, a huge thank you to the entire team! 👏🏿 The waitresses are all lovely, with a special mention for Lina, who looked after our table with such kindness and care. And the food? A perfect score for our table! Delicious dishes that were a hit with everyone, proving that everyone found something to enjoy. Special mention also goes to the owner, who is always on hand, friendly, and attentive to his customers. We even chatted with other diners, who confirmed their loyalty: some come back every year, like a true holiday ritual! And frankly, we understand why. A warm, friendly, and charming place that we wholeheartedly recommend. A wonderful discovery and, above all… a very good reason to return!

Good atmosphere, very good food but disappointed with the desserts, they are far too expensive for what they are….

A beautiful address in the heart of St Maxime

The dish was good, but the custard had "gotten cold," according to the waiters, but they served it anyway. We didn't eat it because of the unusual texture and taste. We also asked for a bottle of spring water, which they cleared away before we finished it. No compensation was offered for these issues. I wouldn't particularly recommend it; there are plenty of restaurants in Sainte-Maxime.

We had a lovely dinner here, although the taste of the pizzas didn't quite live up to their appearance. We were disappointed with the Margherita pizza. The dough was good, but there was little to no tomato sauce, and we had to search for the cheese. The Burrata pizza, on the other hand, was generously topped and delicious. All in all, a restaurant we would visit again.

Everything was absolutely perfect: incredibly pleasant, smiling, attentive, and warm staff, who truly contributed to making the experience unforgettable. 👏 As for the food, a real treat! Delicious, generous, and carefully prepared dishes, made with excellent ingredients and a genuine homemade feel. Every bite was a delight! 😋 A wonderful discovery, with a friendly atmosphere and impeccable service. A huge congratulations to the entire team for the quality of the welcome and the cuisine! We will definitely be back. A must-visit in Sainte-Maxime! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
