When you go to Le Cartusien, you find yourself in a welcoming, warm, and family-friendly atmosphere. We just had our wedding reception there, and it was fantastic! All our wishes and requests were fulfilled... thank you again to the entire team who took such good care of us and our guests 🙏🏾

A super welcome, a very friendly atmosphere, excellent fish and chips accompanied by a little Viognier – just the thing for a short break after visiting the Abbey of Sainte Croix en Jarez.

Reception for a group of cyclists: perfect. With a reservation: warm welcome, friendly, pleasant, and smiling servers. Lunch enjoyed by all. Group menu available. The owner was very attentive and accommodating to our requests.

We hadn't booked, but at the end of our hike we wanted to stop for lunch. We received a very warm welcome, the staff were friendly, and the generous portion of food was excellent. Homemade dessert 😋 Very good value for money, I highly recommend it 👍

Sunday lunchtime, we arrive and it's full, but the owner (very friendly) invites us to wait while choosing our dish and having an aperitif. The room is small but cozy, lots of activity but without stress. We sit outside (in the summer, this terrace must be crowded) and without having time to finish our tapas, we are informed that our table is ready. The menu is kindly explained and we take the daily specials. The prices are more than reasonable, the choice is nice, the sides tasty. A no-frills and traditional cuisine, the plates are tasty, generous and served quickly. Time for dessert arrives, we could also have chosen a farmhouse white cheese or dry cheeses, but we were tempted by a tatin and a crème brûlée subtly flavored with chartreuse. A successful and more than satisfactory experience in this small village restaurant where they don't catch tourists. A visit to the charterhouse, which has become a village, is also worthwhile.
