A wonderful place. Warm and welcoming staff. The food is just like grandma used to make. Simple, tasty, and generous portions. We'll be back.

A pleasant moment apart opposite the Sainte Croix en Jarez monastery. Very kind and welcoming managers, a generously filled plate of charcuterie and cheeses under the late afternoon sun. Delighted to have been able to spend time in this place.

Thank you for bringing us such pleasure on our plates. "Homemade cuisine," simple, generous, and carefully prepared. Delicious lamb shank with thyme sauce, freshly cooked grated cheese, homemade desserts, beautiful fresh fruit salad... Friendly and attentive staff. We also appreciated the ambiance! All at a reasonable price.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant! Everything went perfectly, from the welcome and the service to the meal. We were delighted with our experience and will gladly return. 😊 One small drawback: it's a shame that restaurant vouchers and holiday vouchers aren't accepted. That would be a real plus for customers. Despite this, we highly recommend this restaurant!

Restaurant le Prieure Sainte Croix en Jarez

31/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. Great value for money with quality, homemade dishes. Hats off to the senior couple who took over the business a few years ago and have made it a must-visit. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.
15/05/2026: Lunch for a birthday celebration. Excellent welcome, very good quality meal, with perfect service. Run by a couple of a certain age (like us), the husband in the kitchen, the wife in the dining room, it's a very cozy, family-run establishment. Highly recommended.
