Le Casaluna sur Morosaglia

This was one of the most successful meals. The welcome was very pleasant and the wine recommendation was perfect. We started with tapas and continued with starters, main courses and dessert. From course to course the quality only improved. One recommendation for the hot summer days: put fans on, it will make it easier for the diners. We will come again, because it was perfect.

Absolutely amazing ! True to tradition , quality, taste : the most amazing experience in Corsican food and not only . Connecting tradition to haute cuisine , exceptional preparation, very much a culinary experience . Absolutely amazing experience.

Neither the setting nor the food justifies the prices: €72.00 per person, plus the €12.00 surcharge not mentioned when ordering. It is indeed listed on the menu, but in tiny print, of course! The portions are stingy considering the prices! As for the decor, it's untidy. We were crammed into a corner of the room surrounded by a large pile of boxes, while the same table next to us remained empty! The overall experience left us with a very unpleasant feeling of disappointment and overcharging.

SO very superb, Chef/Owner Jean Costantini is a gem, his dishes Michelin worthy and I've had Michelin starred meals! Lunch was only a start, back for dinner the next night and let him choose our dishes..... YUMMMMM. Best I've ever had in Paris and many many other places! If you need to know more about what is on his menu (only in French) ask to see the photos in his BEAUTIFUL cookbook! He or his wife might be serving you and his brother might be in the kitchen! Make a reservation because it is small and charming! You will want to go more than twice!

Having been familiar with Corsican family cuisine since birth, I recognize certain hallmarks, with a touch of modernity. The amuse-bouches are surprising; the one made with olive oil is excellent. The fish-based starters: - the sea bream crudo, excellent: flavors, temperature, everything was perfect. - the shredded sea bass, excellent: perhaps served slightly warmer and it would have been perfect. The main course: - the civet with Sciaccarellu cheese was excellent. The desserts: - the chocolate with citron and the clementine with chestnut was very good! What's quite surprising is the structure of the 5-course menu, which has 3 courses with supplements ranging from €12 to €19. Especially since all the meat dishes had supplements. In this case, either the price of the set menu should be increased by €10 with no supplements, or the menu should be organized to offer meat and fish choices with and without supplements. Unfortunately, my wife had booked a table requesting a quiet corner for the two of us, and we were seated near a group of nine and next to two tables for two. If the restaurant had been full, I could have understood, but it was only half full, and another table for two would have been more suitable. We still felt like we were paying a lot for the ambiance, and less for the chef's work, which, at least, remains very good and interesting. We had two small Pietra pizzas, one Orezza, a bottle of regular wine, and two set menus (spreads/starter/main course/dessert) for €240. It was still a pleasant and interesting experience. Thank you!

We were fortunate enough to spend a truly timeless moment at Casaluna, where the chef shares his love of Corsica with a keen eye for detail. From the furniture to the ingredients, everything is chosen with care and passion, and this is evident in the dishes, which were all excellent, sophisticated, and generous. A delightful experience that we will cherish. Thank you.

What a gem! Excellent food & wine, with incredibly warm & welcoming service. Wish I had found this restaurant sooner.

The service was impeccable; the waiter was extremely kind and always smiling, which was truly a pleasure. The food was very tasty and the dishes were carefully prepared, and the wine was also fabulous. The atmosphere is relaxing and ideal if you want to spend a quiet evening.
