Le Caveau du Gaentzebrinnel sur Beinheim

We booked one of the small chalets for a cozy birthday celebration. The three pieces of dry-aged meat were excellent, as were all the side dishes. I highly recommend it.

A typical Alsatian restaurant with regional cuisine. The two cabins are especially great for groups. Platters of meat, chicken, fish, and prawns are served there for grilling yourself. An open fire burns in the center. Friendly service.

Total disappointment. It seems to me that the tarte flambée isn't the same as it used to be. Then we ordered the hanger steak as a daily special with fries and spaetzle, and everything arrived cold at the table, so it had to be sent back to the kitchen. This used to be a restaurant I enjoyed going to; we'll see if I go back.

We ate there and were welcomed so warmly by Rosi, so nice that we will be coming regularly from now on. It's great that there are still such lovely people like Rosi, she looked after us perfectly, 😁😁👍👍👍👍

The food was very good, the staff were nice but you have to sit there for ages until you are served or can pay.
