Take a little walk in downtown Béziers and try something different 🇫🇷
Excellent Lebanese food with the mezze and different meat dishes 👍
Very friendly and smiling staff and a nice cold Beirut Beer 🍺
Highly recommended 🇫🇷

The service was slow.
No children's menu.
But the meal was good.
That's just my personal opinion; everyone is entitled to their own.

A pleasant restaurant at the end of the walkways, perfect for enjoying a bit more peace and quiet. The staff is friendly and efficient, the food is delicious, and the portions are generous, although we would have liked a little more (especially more than one of each mini specialty). It's a shame the terrace is a bit small, as are the windows, but it's perfectly adequate in the evening or for escaping the sun.

But this is real food! This is the real deal!
Listen to me carefully, because they don't make food like this very often anymore. Amidst the drabness of assembly lines and industrial frozen food that kills our taste buds, I stumbled upon a gem, a marvel in Béziers: Le Cèdre du Liban.
They don't just throw the plate at you here. No sir! You're welcomed by the owner, a brilliant, passionate man who knows his ingredients inside and out. He explains his cuisine, he tells you about Lebanon, he guides you through his menu without any pretentious nonsense. It's clear, it's straightforward, it's precise. You can tell the man loves his customers, and that, my friends, is priceless!
It's a journey, a true escape. And the value for money? Extraordinary! You won't be ripped off when the bill arrives. You'll be treated to flavor, generosity, and freshness. The decor isn't meant to impress; it's a genuine invitation to sit down, put down your bag, and escape, culinary-wise. It's warm, it's convivial, it's made for eating and enjoying!
And now, hold on to your hats. We finished with the Mouhalabieh. A Lebanese orange blossom flan, sprinkled with pistachios. A marvel of sweetness! In the mouth, it's a marriage of love, pure poetry. It's fresh, it's fragrant, it melts in your mouth. That's what gastronomy is all about: simple emotion!
My Verdict
I observed the dining room: there are regulars, people who know what they want and who come back because they're not fools. They know where the truth lies.
This isn't criticism meant to encourage them, it's a tip of the hat, a general congratulations! Go ahead without hesitation, and enjoy this craftsman who still respects both the customer and the product.
That's what happiness is! Bravo!

Average value for money, but good overall, though not quite enough for me for a €25 dish. A few things could be improved, such as the tabbouleh which needed more parsley. Some background music would have been nice. The restaurant is very quiet, but slightly uncomfortable – the chairs are a bit too hard. Overall, though, I'm not disappointed.
