Le Cénacle sur Toulouse

I am modifying my opinion: I do not understand the Michelin guide... well, a few dozen inspectors cannot evaluate hundreds of thousands of restaurants in the year... Trust the millions of customers who leave a review on Tripadvisor and on Google, long life at the Cénacle, its customers love you even more and tell you so, come on let's all go to the Cénacle... ❤️❤️❤️Wow what a surprise, living in Toulouse for several years and disappointed with the 2 stars in the city, I looked for an alternative (you you said alternative GG... whoever wants will understand...) and I have not yet come back from it: Clément Convard offered us his menu in 6 dishes, full of flavors, full of tastes, from the very beginning with the 3 appetizers (in closing our eyes we would have thought we were at the old inn at GG…), until the end with its bubble of kiwi and Meyer lemon, passing by langoustines, lobster, shellfish, scallops, can, all very good perfectly cooked products with their tasty accompaniments and all with tasty sauces poured at the time of service, this delicious meal is worthy of a 2 Michelin star, not to mention the very beautiful restaurant room hosted by the hotel de la cour des consuls and above all also without counting on the young team in the room who are starting to be very comfortable with the customers (when you take the time to listen to people, you understand what they say, even if this delicious person is from the Philippines…), I hope you discover this Chef and his entire team, I had a wonderful evening, thank you all Post scriptum: for the management of the Hôtel des Consuls: could you not give the Cénacle restaurant a setting worthy of a second Michelin star by dressing the 2nd room behind the fireplace with canvases stretched on the walls to create a mirror effect with the 1st room? A canvas with the photo of the fireplace on the wall behind the fireplace and a canvas with a reproduction of the painting by Caravaggio on the wall opposite, that would upgrade the 2nd room for the satisfaction of customers who are not lucky enough to be in the 1st room..., and this without any work (but if one day you can do very, very large work, the ideal would be to drill the wall just behind the hearth of the fireplace to make it a through hearth and to break the wall right side of the fireplace identical to the left side to make a central fireplace for the 2 rooms, transforming everything into a unique room as beautiful and classy in front of and behind the fireplace... we can dream but it would be a great setting for Restaurant …

What a great discovery! favorite restaurant for us. PERFECT... refined cuisine, superb dishes, impeccable service, superb setting. Total incomprehension about the loss of the star. We will definitely return. Thank you to the team for this good time.

The place is absolutely magnificent. The pigeon pithiviers is simply divine. The cuisine, both original and refined, the plates are true works of art, both aesthetically and qualitatively. The service is impeccable, we really had a very pleasant time, I highly recommend this starred restaurant!

We recently had dinner in this very beautiful place, the Cenacle is the 2019 1-star restaurant at the Consul Tower hotel Beautiful room, splendid fireplace, tables spaced apart, service more than up to par from the whole team, we chose the tasting menu at 99 euros. The sommelier offers an excellent wine pairing of very high quality for 45 euros, wines mostly from the great southwest, with one exception, the perry which accompanies the dessert.

The place is magnificent, very prestigious. The plates are beautiful and the cuisine is very good and refined. In terms of quantity, we had our fill and left satisfied! Nothing to say about the service which was impeccable. Very good experience, I recommend.

Quite a long meal on site: almost systematic addition to the table at the table. Some names are extremely elaborate (like olive oil ultimately served alone with bread as an appetizer). Correctly executed but several dishes miss their target, due to excess salt (the pork) or poorly balanced flavors/quantities (the amount of chocolate ganache in the dessert). The service is full of good intentions but expect to deal with 5 different people throughout the meal.

Once again, we had a wonderful time in this excellent Toulouse restaurant whose star is well deserved! The setting is refined, warm, and soothing. The service, perfect as usual: discretion, courtesy, efficiency and kindness are there. As for the dishes: they are really tasty, delicate, subtle, in short it is a delight for gourmet and demanding taste buds! And what about dessert....an absolutely magical moment when the chocolate petals open before your eyes.....a truly sublime dessert! We will of course see you soon!
