A truly wonderful eight-course culinary experience (tasting menu). The setting is beautiful and cozy, and the waitstaff is courteous and very professional (the owner has excellent interpersonal skills). We thoroughly enjoyed the rather traditional cuisine, with meticulous attention to detail in each dish. The peeled foie gras and seared oyster in a shellfish consommé were also original touches. The grated Comté cheese on top of the milk foam and hazelnuts was another unique element. The red mullet was cooked to perfection. We paired it with a good bottle of Morgon (recommended by the sommelier). It was a truly wonderful experience. The portions were generous and the dishes were beautifully prepared. Thank you!

Once again, not disappointed. As refined as ever. Everything was excellent, from arrival to departure. We are privileged to be able to treat ourselves to this restaurant once a year, and we have no regrets, given the warm welcome and exquisite cuisine. If you can afford it even once, experience it. My only complaint is the smoked butter 😥, I don't like it. But that's just me. It's a shame because it's prepared by the chef. Perhaps they could offer two options: smoked butter and Timut pepper butter. That's my opinion. Excellent evening. Thank you to the chef and his team.

Was our favorite meal on this trip. Lovely staff, amazing food, and highlight was when they served us some Beaujolais paradis made from freshly pressed Gamay grapes from the current harvest!

We found everything we like in this restaurant: a cuisine combining wines and local produce. We particularly liked the strong tastes and flavors, and the "meaty" side of the dishes offered, the white wines in the food and wine pairing, as well as the refined and modern decoration. The quantities were quite correct. The whole team was very friendly and efficient. Finally, even if this time we had the tasting menu, we appreciate that menus at lower prices are also offered, it makes us want to come back simply to introduce our loved ones to this beautiful restaurant. We loved our time spent at the Auberge du Cep and we highly recommend this restaurant.
