We were visiting friends in Fleurie and had heard about this restaurant as a must visit from locals. It did not disappoint! The lunch menu offered a spectacular array of inventive and beautiful takes on local French specialities that was surprisingly affordable by US standards. The staff were welcoming and very attentive, working hard to accommodate a change in our schedule that required us to change our reservation. A must-visit for anyone in the area.

Last time, everything seemed a bit stressed and tense. This time, it was a celebration, from arrival to departure. Adjusting the menu was no problem; delicious dishes with depth, often inspired by the past and Burgundy, beautiful, elaborate terrine en croute or one filled with foie gras in two preparations. Very good wine advice; I received exactly what I was looking for. Everything relaxed, a nice pace, and a bill that we are not used to in Belgium... so low. For me, perhaps with the new Le Saint Amour in Saint Amour, the best restaurant in the Beaujolais.
Super, go taste it.

We had a wonderful time at Auberge du Cep. The eight-course menu is a true culinary experience, with dishes boasting refined and perfectly balanced flavors. It's also a Michelin-starred restaurant where the portions are generous and you leave completely satisfied, which is particularly appreciated.
The wine pairing was also a great success, each combination perfectly complementing the dishes. We received a warm welcome, and the staff were attentive, smiling, and professional throughout the meal. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant for a truly exceptional gastronomic experience.
