Le Cercle sur Dijon

I came to spend an evening here: pleasant music and a friendly atmosphere. However, I was repeatedly called a "cougar" by young men. At 58, I'm simply a woman who goes out to dance, laugh, and enjoy time with friends. Reducing a woman to a label linked to her age and a sexual connotation is not insignificant. Curiously, a word has been invented for women... but not for men in the same situation... In a place where all generations meet, respect should be the rule for everyone. Respect has no age, no gender.

It's a shame that more and more 18-year-olds, not always very respectful, are taking over this bar. I've been coming here for a few years now and I can feel the difference in the clientele. The 30-50 age group is no longer the majority of customers.

I had a lovely time in a beautifully decorated place with a relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff. Thanks to Julie for introducing me to apricot liqueur.

I came for a drink with my husband, and honestly, it was fantastic! I don't regret it at all, quite the opposite! We received a very warm welcome from the two young women in the cloakroom, who made us laugh a lot! Thanks again for a wonderful evening!
