We chose Le Cercle for Valentine's Day lunch and we weren't disappointed. The welcome was wonderful, with a lovely little touch: a beautiful bouquet on the table to mark the occasion. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant, perfect for a quiet chat. The food was superb; we enjoyed it from start to finish. The service was also outstanding: the staff was attentive yet discreet. In short, we had a fantastic time together, and we highly recommend this restaurant in Auxerre.

Delicious food and impeccable, warm service

We came to this restaurant on Friday evening, a place we hadn't been to before. It was a lovely discovery. The setting surprised us because the decor isn't Moroccan at all, as one might expect, but rather reminiscent of an art gallery (the owners have one right next door—which explains it). I don't mean that in a negative way; the atmosphere is pleasant. We received a very warm welcome, and the meal was delicious. We won't hesitate to return.
