Le Cercle - FERMÉ sur Poissy

Such a fantastic example of a modernist house that has inspired many contemporary modernist homes today. Well worth seeing.

Tiny villa, very simple, but the simplicity is nice! And the location is good to visit!

A wonderful house of a magnificent style. Le Corbusier's work is excellent. The architecture does not interrupt the landscaping and is integrated with talent.

Almost ten years ago, as an architecture student that I was, I first heard about this architectural masterpiece with its architectural principle specific to this place (free plan, free facades). etc). Our architectural history teacher told us about this special place in a certain way that we felt a special and unique sensation that today by visiting this place I felt the same thing again. It’s something for the arch that I am today without wanting to throw flowers at me 🌷. As they say, I couldn’t believe it at all 😂. Next stop, the radiant city.

Just as they teach it to you in your architecture degree. A very well maintained design landmark on the outskirts of Paris. In our case we arrived after a metro and bus transfer in Poissy. The house is spectacular, being able to travel in time and understand the points of Le Corbusier's architecture has been something wonderful. There is a small reception and a shop to buy some souvenirs.

The visit is worth the detour. Almost all the rooms can be visited.

SUBLIMISSIME architectural jewel of breathtaking modernity, a real suspended moment. I highly recommend taking the audio guide which gives a great perspective on the place, its history, the family who commissioned it from Le Corbusier, and all the technical pitfalls that had to be overcome.

The visit to the Villa Savoye is really very interesting. It is accessible by public transport from Paris via tram and bus. The place is very well restored and very pleasant to visit when the weather is sunny. A must-have for architects. Although very difficult to get there by public transport, the visit is well worth the detour.

The pinnacle of French art, everyone to copy this architectural style. Visiting this villa is a unique experience that I recommend. I showed the photos and asked the question: when was this house built? Answer: 1980. A must see.
