26/01/2026: During our recent stay at the hotel, we unfortunately encountered several negative points that deserve to be highlighted.
We had booked a room with spa access included. The room did not meet our expectations; it was very small, and we were even more disappointed to learn that bathrobes were an extra charge for guests staying on the first floor. This difference in treatment is difficult to understand and clearly gives the impression of discrimination between guests, especially since spa access is supposed to be included for everyone, given that we booked through Staycation.
Another disappointing point was the television in the room. The quality was poor, it was impossible to share a phone screen, and the selection of channels was very limited (fewer than 15), offering little of interest and making us not want to turn on the TV with its mediocre programming.
Despite these negative aspects, several positive points fortunately balanced our experience. The welcome was simply extraordinary: warm, professional, and very attentive. The bar was also excellent, with a pleasant atmosphere, and the breakfast was of very good quality, varied, and much appreciated. In summary, the hotel has real strengths, particularly in terms of service and dining, but some important details related to the included services and facilities deserve to be reviewed to offer an experience that truly lives up to expectations.
23/01/2026: This is the fourth time my partner and I have stayed at this hotel. The first three times were quite good.
But this fourth time, we were rather disappointed… We booked a room, were told that bathrobes and slippers would be in the room, arrived, and there were none… We went down to reception to ask for them so we could have our first massage of the weekend… we were refused. Oh well, moving on.
The evening was great; we went bowling!
The next day, breakfast was quite substantial.
The only downside was that the scrambled eggs and sausages were cold, even though they were in containers meant to keep them warm.
We went back to reception to ask for bathrobes and slippers for our second treatment at the spa, but we encountered a different receptionist who also refused our request. I politely explained that we had booked two couples' treatments over the weekend, and that it would have been nice to have bathrobes… Still nothing.
In the evening, we wanted to sit at the bar to have a drink and a bite to eat, like the other three times.
We went to the bartender and asked for the charcuterie boards, and he told us, "Tonight there are only chips to eat, otherwise go to the restaurant." We were surprised because it said "7/7 snacks." We went to reception, who told us they didn't have any in stock, but I'm sorry, but the charcuterie is the same as what's on the breakfast tray…
Anyway, we went to the Imprimerie restaurant! Excellent service, great meal which we ate in our room because it wasn't possible to eat in the common lounge (a shame, as we wanted to have a few drinks…). We're not sure we'll come back…
