Paxton Resort & Spa sur Ferrieres-En-Brie

Nice hotel, however, it's not worth 4 stars. We arrived at 3 pm. At reception, we asked if we could get something to eat, and the person there told us to go to a restaurant a 3-minute walk away. Which we did, but unfortunately, the restaurant was closed. When we returned to the hotel, we noticed that they were still serving snack-style food, something that hadn't been suggested by reception. The pool was cold, and there were no sun loungers available because there weren't many. The bar closes at 10 pm, so we had to cross the entire hotel to get to the other bar, which closes at 2 am. At 1 am, we asked a question at reception, and they didn't even greet us. Bathrobes are extra; I've never seen that in a 4-star hotel. Sorry, but the service is not up to standard.

Good service. The rooms are clean but not perfect. Something really needs to be done about the curtains; it's bright light in the room from 7:30 am... it's unacceptable. Otherwise, a good experience!

The standard room was located in the older part of the building and wasn't very nice. However, there are renovated rooms on the ground floor that have been very nicely done.

We had a fantastic stay with my daughters! We enjoyed the L'Origano restaurant, the pool and sun loungers in the solarium, the bowling alley, and even the massage at the spa – I think we took full advantage of everything! It's a shame the sauna was unavailable, which wasn't mentioned on the website. Otherwise, everything was great from the moment we arrived.

A very nice experience and the price was consistent with the service and quality of the hotel, but I was disappointed by the Italian-style beds. When you ask for a double bed, you don't expect two single beds pushed together, but oh well! Apparently, this only applies to the ground floor rooms... In any case, I recommend it! (Just one thing: where's the jacuzzi?)

Another fantastic stay and a wonderful team, always smiling and friendly. I highly recommend a room at the Paxton to anyone visiting Paris. Special thanks to the bar staff who were so quick to anticipate my coffee order when it arrived :)

Overall acceptable except the fact that shower door was a joke. There were no flexible plastic at both ends to stop water from escaping. Hot water seems to be limited in supply, would not last for over 20 minutes in total. Otherwise, all good and happy with the cleaniness and size of room.

We stayed at this hotel for a visit to Disneyland Paris. It's very well located with direct motorway access and is only 10 minutes from the park. We were a little disappointed with the room, especially the bathroom (not what you'd expect from a hotel in this category). The reception staff weren't very friendly, just the bare minimum.

Comfortable bed, spacious and quiet room. Access to the gym, pool, and restaurant is a bonus. The staff is also lovely. It's a shame the kitchenette isn't equipped with utensils, rendering it unusable despite having an oven, stovetop, and refrigerator. The complete lack of electrical outlets near the bed is also a problem. You have to unplug the kettle or the desk lamp to charge your phone or computer.
