The place is magnificent, the food is very good, and the service is impeccable. There's also the option of strolling in the park. The Château de Ferrière is magnificent. I highly recommend it.

We had a perfect time enjoying dinner on the terrace. The service was impeccable, the staff competent and welcoming. The dishes were delicious, homemade with fresh, high-quality ingredients. And I haven't even mentioned the setting—simply stunning! A place to remember, and one we will definitely return to with pleasure. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. We were seated on the veranda, which had a lovely view of the castle grounds. The waiters were very friendly and pleasant. The menus we chose were good, with a special mention for the lemon meringue pie... absolutely divine!

The entrance through the castle's grand driveway is impressive and makes you wonder if you've taken the wrong path 😅. But no, not at all…and this is just a taste of what's to come, because both outside and inside the restaurant, the setting is magnificent. As for the food, the two starters we ordered were very good. The main courses and desserts were a notch below, but the pleasant, professional, and extremely kind service somewhat made up for it. A very enjoyable experience, and we'll be back!

We've been going to this restaurant for several years and have always enjoyed it. The setting remains its main asset: both the interior and the terrace are beautiful and offer a very pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, on our last visit, we were disappointed. The menu, presented on a chalkboard, looked promising. Given the setting and the prices, we expected a high standard, both in terms of the food and the service. On the plus side, the dishes were well-prepared. We chose a burger and a butcher's cut (lamb), which we found tasty and well-prepared. However, the desserts seemed excessively expensive. At €14 each, we expected more elaborate creations. A panna cotta with one and a half strawberries and a coulis, rice pudding with a few popcorn pieces, or a small tartlet seemed to offer questionable value for money. All the desserts are offered at the same price, even though they don't offer the same perceived value. The service was also disappointing. Our waitress lacked warmth, friendliness, and attentiveness. The service felt rushed, even though the restaurant wasn't full, with plenty of seats available both on the terrace and inside. We felt a lack of friendliness and professionalism. The most problematic issue concerned the cleanliness of the dishes. Our white plates had yellow stains that immediately made us question their cleanliness. When we pointed this out, the waitress explained that these were simply wear marks and that the plates were washed daily with vinegar. To demonstrate this, she rubbed the stains directly with her fingers on the plate we were about to eat from, a gesture we found unhygienic. As a precaution, we then rubbed the marks ourselves with a napkin, and they transferred to the napkin, confirming, in our opinion, that the plate wasn't clean. We were offered a new plate, but without the slightest apology. At this price point, if the tableware is indeed worn, it should be replaced. It's unacceptable to serve customers on plates with such marks in an establishment that positions itself in this way. In the end, we paid nearly €150 for three people, including a main course and dessert each, as well as a single Coca-Cola. At this price, we expect an impeccable overall experience, where the quality of the food is accompanied by attentive service and careful presentation. It's all the more disappointing because we've enjoyed this restaurant several times in the past and we know that not all members of the team necessarily reflect this experience. Nevertheless, this visit leaves us with a feeling of disappointment, and it's unlikely we'll be returning for some time. For us, the value for money is no longer there today.

We came yesterday, and it's not our first time. We really enjoy Chai. We were a little disappointed yesterday with my first course, a tuna and salmon tartare. It was still delicious, but tiny... what a shame! Perhaps the portions have changed? Otherwise, it's always a pleasure to come back!

I had a quick lunch and it was very good. Beautiful. The setting is stunning. I'll be back.
