Excellent restaurant this time, the portions were very generous, perhaps even too much so. But don't change a thing, it's still a delight! 😱🤩

Simply delicious. We go there regularly for meals with friends or for events and it's a treat every time.

Excellent meal in a pleasant setting

We had a wonderful time at Le Chai restaurant. A very good place, warm welcome, perfect and beautifully presented dishes. They were punctual as we were heading to a concert in the castle – a fantastic evening.

We had lunch in the veranda; the setting was lovely, and the meal was good and plentiful. Admittedly, it's a bit more expensive than a traditional restaurant, but the price is more than justified. The desserts were €14, but they were excellent and clearly homemade. The service was adequate but a little below the rest of the experience.

Let's start with the setting… Honestly, between us: arriving at the Château de la Ferrière immediately sets the mood. Inside, there are framed photos showing the place before its renovation. They did a remarkable job, truly like professionals—at least upstairs, where I dined, it was superb. As for the staff: nothing to complain about. Attentive, responsive to your needs, always smiling and welcoming. Honestly, I felt completely at ease. An extra touch: a pianist was there that evening. Not only did he play beautifully, but he also sang! Needless to say, we were in heaven. Now, on to the food… Well, I have to congratulate you: this beef… where did it come from?! Incredible. I think it's been 20 years since I've eaten meat of such high quality. Truly exceptional. My wife loved it too. And the scallops… they literally melted in your mouth, incredibly delicate. Honestly, hats off to them! 🔥 I'm talking about the main courses, but the starter was just as good: the duck foie gras was excellent, I highly recommend it. Fun fact: it was a surprise for me, and we were also celebrating our first anniversary there with my girlfriend ❤️ Tell me: you won't be missing us anytime soon 🤣 We'll be back very soon! Not much atmosphere; my husband and I noticed there was no background music. The live bands tonight somewhat spoiled our conversation and dinner. As for the food, the sauce on my salmon was too salty. The dessert was okay. For this level of establishment, it was a bit disappointing.

Be careful, you must check what you are given. I ordered two glasses of Blanc de Blancs champagne and was served two glasses of champagne that were not Blanc de Blancs without any explanation. After realizing this, I mentioned it, and the waitress said, "We don't have any." Shouldn't she have told me when I ordered? A strange way to do things. As for the rest, the experience is mixed; the food was unpretentious. The drinks menu wasn't presented. In conclusion, the value for money is very average.
