Le Chalet sur Gresse-En-Vercors

We passed by the restaurant twice in the same week. Very good value for money, very friendly and welcoming staff, very courageous. Thanks again, we will definitely come back.

We only stopped in the reception bar for a vin chaud.....but it was a very good vin chard!

The dishes at the restaurant we chose were just Perfect: foie gras with its brioche cooked fresh, tournedos with morels to die for with its Grand Mere-style gratin dauphinois and fresh green beans, a pure delight, not to mention the tartiflette, the cheese platter as we like them and a dessert based on roasted vanilla pineapple on Madame cream and crunchy tiles… how can I tell you that we drove to the room 😜 a very very good address. Regarding the rooms, we stayed in a spacious double room with very comfortable bedding. The pillows were perhaps a little too soft for us. The service in the hotel and restaurant is also perfect. The hotel is undergoing modernization changes because our room is in its original state in our opinion and in the mountain theme which is logical given its location. But the “standard” rooms are prettier and more modern as seen on the website. We were also able to take advantage of this superb private spa (which is located outside the hotel a little further down) on occasion, I recommend it (showers, jacuzzi, sauna and tea/infusion available). In summary, if you are looking for a quiet place for a good relaxing and gastronomic weekend, the Chalet is the ideal place.

We very often ate in this restaurant when we had a pied-à-terre in Gresse en Vercors. We have excellent memories of it, everything was perfect, food and service. Looking forward to returning there one day, hoping that the restaurant is not full, which is a good sign 👍
