After a somewhat mixed first visit in August 2024, we returned for a stay in Béarn. For me, Le Chalet is now the best restaurant in Salies, thanks to the quality of the ingredients, the superb decor, and the ambiance, which this time was a very pleasant and mellow concert – thank you Rosewoodcover! 😉 The owners are incredibly attentive, and it's clear they're invested in their establishment, as are their employees. I highly recommend it! 😊

Lunch on Sunday at noon on the terrace in the sunshine. A very pleasant experience. Meal €30 per person. High-quality cuisine. Service was quick, a bit too quick for a Sunday. Welcoming service.

There's a great atmosphere. At night the music is too loud for dinner. The staff are very friendly, but the food is very basic and poorly prepared.

It's a warm, friendly, and lively place in Salies-de-Béarn. The opening hours are long, which is a real plus! Great terrace in a beautiful setting, backing onto the public garden. Daily specials and good quality meals. Live music evenings are organized.

01/05/2026: The staff were kind and very welcoming; a pleasant evening.
28/03/2026: A beautiful, listed historical monument, with a spacious and well-equipped room. The bathroom was clean, but there was a problem with the water pressure and the hot water settings were complicated. The staff were welcoming and friendly, although it's a shame the reception area and elevator access are a bit cramped. There was a lack of signage for the restaurant, as you have to go through the Casino bar. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked, with something for everyone. The products were of high quality. The restaurant was pleasant with a lovely view of the park. A great experience if you're in the area.
