Le Chalet de la Bourre sur Mignovillard

A small inn at the starting point for hiking and mountain biking trails, cross-country skiing in the magnificent Haute Joux forest, and the famous Combe Noire nearby. Prices are reasonable and the food is varied and decent. Very spacious parking, and a public toilet (dry toilet!) is available.

A wonderful discovery for us this evening! The welcome was warm, the products were local and homemade. The Comté cheese fondue was delicious, and a special mention goes to the beer. In short, from appetizer to dessert, it was perfect! This place is a must-visit if you're passing through or want to sample the region's cuisine. The setting is also stunning. After a good hike, what could be better than a delicious meal in a beautiful setting with such a welcoming host? We ate very well, and thank you for the little card game at the end. We will definitely be back.

Arriving late afternoon in the warm weather after a walk in the Combe Noire (superb and amazing), the little homemade pineapple-coconut cocktail, nothing from the Jura region admittedly, the warm welcome and enthusiasm felt, the smiles and kindness that do you good… thank you! In short, the unmissable stop along the way.
