Le Chalet de Luigi sur Bourg-Saint-Maurice

Would highly recommend Chateau Luigi. From the friendly and informal bar area to the excellent restaurant upstairs, this establishment delivers for all. The food was excellent and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We ate at Luigi's chalet as a party of seven. The staff (Max, Laura, and Adrien) were fantastic; they went out of their way to find us a table despite the restaurant being full. They were incredibly accommodating, helpful, and kind. Try the raw milk raclette; it's amazing. I highly recommend it.

What can I say? Oh yes, THANK YOU!!!!! What a wonderful time we had at Luigi's! We came as a family and, well, we were absolutely delighted. Luigi's is, and I think it will remain, the best restaurant in Les Arcs. The atmosphere is friendly and you feel right at home. The food is divine, and let's talk about the service!!!! What a wonderful, welcoming team! Thank you to our server Lucas for this delightful experience. We couldn't have dreamed of a better server than him—attentive, kind, and very courteous. A special mention goes to his sense of humor, which makes the experience even more special. If you visit Luigi's, don't hesitate to ask for him to be pampered; you won't be disappointed, believe me! An extra 8 euros for sauce on the ribeye steak? We're in the mountains, but that's outrageous... a bad final impression.

I have to say that we felt that the menu was exceptionally limited in choice, especially for an 'italian' restaurant. Maybe it was never going to be 'Italian'? There were no lasagne or pizza or bolognese type foods on the restaurant menu. We were going to leave but the maitre de suggested we ate in the bar area. The service was excellent but sadly the food was a real disappointment. Overall in our group of 6 only 2 enjoyed their meal. I am certain it was not anyone's fault, we simply had an expectation that was not right.
