Exceptional I recommend!! in an idyllic setting!

Magnificent view, superb restaurant and very warm welcome 👌🏻 I really recommend this restaurant, accessed directly via the Les Merles piste. Go there with your eyes closed

We ate very well but there was a wait of an hour between the entree and the main course I think because of an entry error on their entry of the menus despite everything was excellent except the tartiflette which lacked a little bacon

We have been coming to La Clusaz for many years and have always enjoyed Chalet Des Praz for apres ski and lunch. However it was only this year that we tried it for dinner (much to do with roads being clear which gave us the courage to drive up the mountain). Why have we not been here before??! What a beautiful restaurant - in my opinion, the best in La Clusaz. Atmosphere and setting was idyllic. Service was friendly, welcoming and attentive. Our first visit, we tried the chicken (perfectly cooked and served with a delicious but simple green salad), the Coquillettes des enfants terribles (a delicious pasta) and the cheese burger. The cheese burger was so good we immediately booked again for the Friday, came back and all ordered them. I’m lactose intolerant but still ordered it! Small sacrifice for such an amazing burger. In fact, I defy you to tell me you’ve eaten a better burger - anywhere!! Served medium, juicy and perfectly seasoned, onion confit and a “ketchup” that’s the secret ingredient. If I was made of cash, I’d fly there right now just for lunch and burgers! The next 11 months before we are back will inevitably go slowly. Message to Dez Praz - please airmail me some burgers over Summer. Many thanks!!!
