Le Chamois sur Taninges

Every year we come to end our holidays with a fantastic barbecue! Once you get over the initial surprise of the smoke from the braziers (asthmatics beware!!!...), the old-fashioned farm-inn atmosphere is friendly and welcoming! We have a soft spot for this place, which hosted us as a family for many years... We remember the perfect breakfasts back then...

Excellent location for this family-run restaurant at the foot of the L'Hôtel slope. Everything is homemade. If you're looking for a typical mountain spot where you feel comfortable, eat well, and are served by attentive staff, you've come to the right place! Our go-to spot for a great fondue (and much more) every time we visit Praz-de-Lys, summer or winter.

We had lunch on the terrace. A very good inn, simple and authentic. Reasonable prices, don't hesitate to stop by.

I give 5 stars for the excellent and generous home-style cooking. The staff is welcoming. It's easily accessible via the hotel's access road when it's open. I haven't yet experienced the rooms to comment on them.
