We arrived by chance for one night and ended up staying five! The hotel is very well located, quiet, and very friendly. The restaurant was incredible; we ate very, very well, enjoying local products cooked to perfection and generous portions! The owners and staff were very welcoming. Thank you for this wonderful stay; we will be back as soon as possible.

The staff were very welcoming. We had a very good meal at a reasonable price. They used local produce from the Champsaur region. This is a popular restaurant; I recommend making a reservation.

Fantastic hotel and restaurant, excellent welcome, cleanliness, family-style meals in a charming village resort where we've stayed many times seeking peace and quiet. The hotel has a swimming pool and is located 10 km north of Gap, easily accessible, and 1 hour 45 minutes from Marseille (three-quarters of the way by motorway), 30 minutes from Serre-Ponçon Lake.

An unpretentious but incredibly welcoming mountain hotel. The food is simple but good and homemade, both on half-board and à la carte. We had a wonderful weekend there, enjoying some beautiful hikes in the Écrins National Park.

A very pleasant stay; all the staff were attentive and very welcoming. A family atmosphere, always a kind word. We felt right at home. The meals were very generous and excellent, featuring regional products. I highly recommend this place. A big thank you to everyone. Josy

A warm welcome, smiling staff, excellent traditional dishes. An unusual but excellent dessert (baked Alaska). An address to remember. Plenty of seating, but reservations are recommended.

HOTEL LES AUTANES

15/05/2026: Luxurious rooms. Hearty breakfast with good local products. Warm welcome. A little disappointed by the culinary quality of the dinners and the prices; 30 euros for a plate of pasta and two scoops of ice cream is expensive!
12/05/2026: Fantastic hotel in the middle of a ghost town (early May). Clean, warm, welcoming, and with a great atmosphere. The room was large, clean, and very comfortable. And finally, a non-French dinner, without the usual spreads and sauces. They served us a brazier with a grill and glowing embers right on the table, along with a platter of slices of raw meat (cooked to your liking) that were truly excellent, tender, and flavorful, and a huge bowl of delicious, non-greasy French fries. There were two of us, but four could have easily eaten… A truly beautiful place; we were right to stop in Ancelle in the middle of nowhere instead of Gap!!!
