Le Champ des Vignes sur Aurillac

I discovered this place a while ago and had a very positive experience, which I repeated tonight and it was a real treat: excellent homemade dishes, impeccable and attentive service. I highly recommend it.

Our experience at Champ des Vignes capped off a week-long holiday in the Cantal region, where we enjoyed a variety of culinary experiences. We stumbled upon it quite by chance, arriving late, and were absolutely blown away by what this restaurant has to offer: delicate cuisine with thoughtfully crafted flavors, combined with passionate service and precise, helpful advice. This last point is very rare and deserves to be highlighted! The icing on the cake: a well-chosen playlist accompanied this wonderful experience, all at an unbeatable price. Please don't change a thing: the people of Aurillac are so lucky!

A very good experience at this unassuming little restaurant. The owner provided very attentive service, the meal was excellent—rare at this price point—a wonderful discovery. The first restaurant to try in Aurillac.

We had a delicious meal. Super confit de canard (crispy on the outside and tender on the inside). The salmon starter was also a combination of flavors that came together wonderfully. In addition, the atmosphere and service were particularly top-notch. The waiter made sure it was a truly enjoyable night out. In short, if you want to have a fun, cozy evening and enjoy good food as well, this is highly recommended.

The wait for our food was long, but it was worth it—absolutely delicious, the food was prepared by true enthusiasts. And the service was very professional. Just perfect!

Excellent food, prepared to perfection. The only downside was the wait. We had to wait an hour to be served. The background music was lovely. The owners are passionate about what they do. A very nice experience despite the wait.

We ate there for lunch today (table for two) and weren't disappointed. The dishes were delicious and well explained. We opted for stuffed cabbage and duck confit. The cabbage was a culinary journey in itself. And let's not forget the foie gras as a starter. The wine was well recommended. Bravo to the chef, bravo to everyone!
