A restaurant set back a little from Place du Général de Gaulle, with a charming shaded terrace and beds of exotic plants.
"Le Channel" has been recommended by the "Petit Futé" guide for several years.
The menu is very varied: seafood, set menus, crêpes and galettes, traditional cuisine, à la carte options, and set menus at very reasonable prices. Everything is delicious. Here, you can take your time, far from the hustle and bustle of the ferry.
The restaurant is family-run, managed by the father, mother, and daughter. The owner is happy to tell you the restaurant's history; he's a true enthusiast!

From the welcome to the bill, everything was impeccable.
The dishes were homemade.
The owners were very attentive.
The atmosphere was a bit English, with a lovely flower-filled terrace.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent restaurant! The €25 set menu is fantastic, excellent value for money.
The staff are welcoming and friendly. A special mention goes to the very sweet and incredibly helpful waitress.

Passing by the terrace, we mentioned wanting oysters, and a charming gentleman told us they were on the menu... We immediately found a spot in the shade of the terrace to enjoy the delicious meal that followed.
The food is simply delicious, and you can really taste the fresh ingredients. Two women in the kitchen and two men serving—a great team to delight us. Thank you for all your attentive service, and we look forward to returning soon to try more of your succulent dishes! ☀️

We came last night and had a wonderful meal.
The dishes were beautifully presented and the food was excellent; we were able to try some of the specialties.
Our daughters loved the restaurant's decor, which is very girly without being tacky.
A special mention for the care given to our baby with his little mashed potato.
We highly recommend this restaurant.
