⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) We come to Le Chant du Monde regularly and have never been disappointed. It's even become a place we happily return to. This time, we ordered the set menu with a Landes salad as a starter. Frankly, it was very generous: a beautiful slice of foie gras, a very fresh salad, a good amount of gizzards... It could almost have been a main course on its own. For my main course, I chose a piece of beef with fries, cauliflower, and a blue cheese sauce. The meat was a little tough, but considering the price of the set menu and the current cost of meat, this didn't bother me at all. On the contrary, I think the restaurant offers excellent value for money. The blue cheese sauce was excellent, and the entire dish was very good. We then shared a cheese plate, which was much appreciated, and finished with a delicious dessert. Everything was very good. The only slight drawback, which is really a matter of personal taste, concerns the Creuse fondue, which I found a bit strong in flavor. However, the quality of the ingredients is undeniable. This wasn't our first visit. We've already tried the duck legs with porcini mushrooms, roasted Camembert, rabbit, and other dishes over the years. Each time, we've had a very enjoyable meal. I also want to emphasize the value for money. For the price, the portions are generous, the ingredients are high quality, and the service is pleasant. This last visit was, in my opinion, the best we've had at this establishment. An address I wholeheartedly recommend and where we will gladly return.
