We had a lovely meal here. The owner/chef was marvellous not only at making the best food but also very hospitable. We called to book for dinner but it was late by the time we called and the restaurant had closed. He opened the restaurant for lunch even though normally it is not open. How kind!

This place is a wonderful place to eat! The chef prepares incredible and delicious dishes. An address not to be missed, you can eat there with your eyes closed!

Incredible food on an excellent recommendation from our hotel… one to watch out for a Michelin recommendation if he doesn’t have it already! Great classic French ingredients with a modern twist… a must visit in Avignon. Incredible to see what this guy can do!

We enjoyed ourselves at Chapelier Toqué, the dishes are delicious, the fish is superbly well cooked and everything is excellent. I highly recommend.

Some will tell you "if you go to Avignon, don't miss this restaurant". After this culinary experience, I can only write “Come to Avignon for the Chapelier Toqué”. Cuisine made to order, of high culinary quality, refined flavors and a sophisticated presentation worthy of a star. Without forgetting the smile and good humor of the chef!

We stopped on a whim and really didn't regret it! The service was going to stop but they made room for us! This menu was simply delicious. The service was efficient and attentive. The dishes seduced us, whether visually or taste-wise! 🥰

Very good meal. The extraordinary veal as well as the guinea fowl. Never disappointed in this restaurant. Keep it up and see you next time.

D'année en année et même pendant le Festival, la qualité est là. La créativité du chef toujours présente. Bref un régal pour les yeux et les papilles.

20/09/2024: Made reservations for a Thursday night. Food was very good! Each dish was made very well and the flavors all complemented each other. The owners serve you and prepare the food and you can tell they take great pride in the prep and their patrons. Highly recommend a stop here. For 100 euros, the seven course menu plus wine is a great value in Avignon. The one thing to take L’Agape up another notch is to improve the by the glass and bottle selections. There is only one white, rose, red, and sparkling to choose from by the glass. The by the bottle list is above average.
10/09/2024: On the advice of a #Vignarès wine merchant met during a tasting at Domaine Richaud, we had lunch there today with great pleasure. Subtle and elegant cuisine, charming terrace and equally charming service. Address to remember
