Le Chapelier Toque sur Avignon

An absolute highlight in Avignon – a pure explosion of flavor! During our visit to Avignon, we were incredibly lucky to discover this wonderful little restaurant in advance and reserve a table for a three-course dinner. Advance reservations are essential, as the restaurant has very limited seating. The unique aspect: all the dishes are freshly cooked and served by the same fantastic person! Although we arrived half an hour early, we received an extremely warm welcome. With the sweltering temperatures outside, we were incredibly grateful to be seated directly in the pleasantly air-conditioned interior. The menu is intentionally small, but offers something to suit every taste. Since there were four of us, we were able to sample everything on offer. The result was clear: we were simply blown away! Every dish – whether appetizer, main course, or dessert – was a visual masterpiece. The flavors were a true explosion; we have rarely eaten at such a high level. Although we arrived half an hour early, we received an incredibly warm welcome. The service, quality, and value for money here are absolutely world-class. Thank you so much for this unforgettable evening and this culinary experience! We will definitely be back.

At Le Chapelier Toqué, it's always a true pleasure to sit down to a meal. The cuisine is refined and delicious, and Joe, the chef, delights us with dishes prepared with finesse, creativity, and passion.

During the OFF Festival, the atmosphere is less convivial, but the €36 set menu in July offers the best value for money in Avignon for an evening meal. Whether inside or on the terrace, the service and cuisine are excellent. Just salt and pepper are needed at the table. Bravo!

What a wonderful discovery during the Avignon Festival! Passing by this restaurant, you wouldn't expect such refined and sophisticated cuisine. The dishes are incredibly fresh. The blend of flavors was amazing in each of our courses. And the presentation was exquisite. A truly talented chef! For the Festival, the chef has a small but very friendly team. Excellent value for money. We'll be back!
