A very good meal, fine and unique flavors served with attention, conviviality and dialogue just right. A magnificent setting. Dishes and wines sometimes perhaps a little out of sync. It remains an exceptional meal

A place rich in every sense, be it the cuisine, the location, the tastes. I appreciate the evening service much more, more ''intimate'' for my taste. A cuisine as we expected but we are still surprised once in the mouth. Careful service, worthy of a large house but which remains modern.

Excellent, fine and refined cuisine The service is pleasant Only the wines do not match the food, especially the ratio between the accompanying package and the quality and quantity of the wines is not good. Nice experience though

18/09/2024: This was our favourite restaurant in Bordeaux! We had delicious food and excellent wines. We would have returned for a dinner if we had time.
10/09/2024: Surprisingly busy on a Monday evening. They do seem to close Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Smallish restaurant, just off the main square, on Rue Bouquière. Nice selection of starters, the prawns and canellis both freshly done, the latter a trio of what amounted to spinach soufflés done in small cylindrical, flanged pots. There was a meat and vegetarian option, includingbthe "chef's mood". The dorade (sea bream) was piping hot and very tasty, if perhaps a bit dry and overdone. Nice selection of desserts. They had local draught beer and a wide selection of other beverages, including wine by the glass or bottle. The two waitresses were delightful, and the service excellent.

20/08/2024: Based on the reputation of the place, I expected a lot more in terms of the menu and the flavors. To begin with, the price of brunch is overrated compared to what is served. I ordered the classic savory pancake with Hollandaise sauce, but found the sauce lacking in flavor and also insufficiently salty. The training leaves something to be desired. The ambiance is pleasant and air-conditioned, and the service was quick, but on the other hand, I felt a lack of enthusiasm regarding the information provided about the card.
17/08/2024: Having discovered and enjoyed The Snack last year, I decided to bring my little sister there. The server was pleasant, as was the atmosphere in the room. The pancakes are really fluffy and accompanied by good products. The toppings offered are more or less original; I recommend the Provencal pancake (goat cheese, candied tomatoes, chorizo)!
