Coming straight from Lille, we're in Clisson for the weekend for a wedding. Despite our rather late arrival, we received a very warm welcome, the food was delicious, the staff were excellent, and the owner was lovely. We highly recommend this charming little restaurant! 😉

Stopped off here for a break en route from Angers to Brittany. Very busy despite a lot of outdoor under cover seating but the excellent manageress managed to seat us after a 10 min wait. Others waiting were not so patient! Service was efficient and friendly and the galettes were first class. Throughly recommended and I’d stop there again

Lunch on a day of the Mascarades festival in Clisson and Mother's Day... The restaurant was packed, but the service was excellent, with a smiling, friendly, and attentive team! The quality was also top-notch. I'll definitely be back! 👍

The galettes and crêpes are good, and the staff is friendly. However, be aware that the prices are very touristy, there's no set menu, so expect to pay around €25 per person (excluding drinks) for a crêpe and a galette. The staff gets overwhelmed quite quickly.

04/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a superb experience at the Au Pied de l'Escalier restaurant in Clisson! 🤘🤘 We had an absolutely perfect time. Jessy, Merlin, Thomas, and Gabriel were incredibly kind and welcoming: smiling, attentive, and with a genuine warmth that immediately makes you want to return. The food was flawless. Special mention goes to the seared tuna, which was simply delicious, a pure delight! And the small glass of melon liqueur was excellent. If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate for a second: the setting is charming, the team is fantastic, and the food is divine. Thank you again to the whole team for this wonderful experience!
