A very warm welcome, the servers were incredibly attentive. We had tapas followed by a burger and a ribeye steak, which were simply excellent, on the server's recommendation. I highly recommend it!

Very warm welcome on the evening of Wednesday the 26th. Terrible welcome on the afternoon of Thursday the 27th. Not to mention the piece of chewing gum left in the ashtray. Being from Angoulême, I'm not sure I'll return or recommend this establishment.

01/11/2026: Passing by on a business trip, I popped into this unassuming restaurant. Inside, it was splendid, and the welcome was very professional. The food was perfect. The seafood casserole was delicious, the flavors perfectly balanced, and the presentation beautiful. The "Cagouilles" (snails) were a wonderful discovery. I was completely unfamiliar with this Charente specialty, but luckily, I tried it, and I was delighted. It was simply a triumph. The snails were large and plentiful. The combination of sausage meat, tomato, garlic, and cognac completed the dish... It was excellent. Finally, a special mention goes to the restrooms, which were spotless, and even provided individual towels... Superb! In short, a very good restaurant.
